Of course my first stop was the Printmakers tent.
A really interesting selection of demonstrating artists and the tent felt less crowded with fixtures this year.
Plenty of wall space for the artists to display their work to a very keen crowd.
I thought I might get a chance to say 'hello' to Laura but she was buried behind a 3 deep wall of fascinated art enthusiasts.
Her stand and art work looked magnificent - the organisers had given her an ideal central space with plenty of hanging room.
Art in Action, for those of you who have not been before is one of the premier open art fairs in the country and the model on which lots of copycat shows have taken their lead.
It is well worth a visit. The emphasis has always been upon artists welcoming visitors to ask, probe, be nosey.... about our particular working practices.
Lots of really exceptional work across all media on display.
Drop in and longer workshops run each day.
Great ice cream!
Beautiful gardens.
Mediocre coffee.
Well worth a visit.
