.
Pillars are available with a usable hanging space measuring 0.5 metres wide x 1.3 metres high and will accommodate
2 medium sized prints or perhaps 3 small prints.

All hanging space will be allocated by the Selection Committee. This is a large, very well lit, white gallery rectangle. Visitors enter, walk round and leave by the same door, so all hanging spaces enjoy equal prominence. Applications will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

cheques made payable to BBH Print Society or preferably by bank transfer - see booking form.

Labelling and Presentation : all artwork must have 3 labels, one stuck onto back, one hanging from thread on D ring and one on the bubble wrap bag the artwork is delivered in, to be returned to artists on the collection day.

Selection process : All framed prints are viewed by 3 selection team members ensuring balanced voting. Each submission needs two votes to get through.

Commission : Letchworth Arts takes a commission of 25 % + vat - please make sure your price takes account of this.
The BBH Print Society will receive the total payment plus sale list - we in turn will send BBH payments to the relevant members. Framed work will not be removed off the walls until the break down day and Letchworth Arts takes full responsibility for customer collection of sold art work. They have assured me your framed prints will be properly stored until collection.

Folios/ unframed : Members can submit up to 10 unframed prints for the duration of the whole exhibition. These will be sold throughout the exhibition by Letchworth Arts staff and handed over at time of sale, and the sale will be documented on sales list at reception / sales desk. All unframed prints must be board supported and cellophane wrapped, labelled with title, printmaker and price. The committee reserves the right to remove from the folio stand any work which they feel is of poor quality and / or unsuitable –

their decision is final.

Meet the Artists / Drypoint Day : Sat 21st March 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
We have decided not to do a Preview Night as we cannot always attract visitors to the event who are not the artists,
so we are holding a Meet the Artists / Drypoint day which we hope will work better.
This is a golden opportunity to talk about your work, show your printing plates and get the customers interested in YOU – very often customers buy pieces of work they know much more about.
Also the drypoint bar is a great way to get the public in, have a go and again engage with the artists who are exhibiting in the gallery. All materials are provided, I will be there on Saturday to show the new members the ropes, if they do not know what to do.
A BBH Member puts the ink onto the customers small scored plate, burnished, placed on the printing press, paper added and then the visitor pulls it through the press. SIMPLE !.

Collection day : Friday 27th March 4:00 to 5:00 pm, or Sat 28th March 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
if you unable to get to Letchworth on either of these dates please contact me on 01462-769024 and we can arrange another day for you collect from Redshanks, West Street, Lilley, Herts LU2 8LH

Loss or damage to artwork : Whilst due care and attention will be taken, the BBH Society and Letchworth Arts accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any work submitted. All works left in Letchworth Arts and the holding venues of the
BBH Print Society remain at the owner’s risk and printmakers should insure their work, should this be of concern.
